GLOBUS Desktop is a Windows-based client application developed by Temenos for institutions running the Temenos GLOBUS core banking system. It provides a graphical interface to core banking functions, enabling branch and back-office staff to manage customer records, service accounts, process payments, and generate operational reports. Designed as a reliable, menu-driven front end to the GLOBUS server environment, it helps standardize daily workflows and reduce reliance on command-line screens.

While many banks have since adopted Temenos Transact (formerly T24) and browser-based interfaces, GLOBUS Desktop remains in use at some organizations and is valued for its stability and familiarity.
